Draws on the work of the Critical
Filipina and Filipino Studies Collective on the War on Terror, the war
on political activists in the Philippines, and the extension of the U.S. prison-industrial
complex to regions outside U.S. borders. The cluster will aim to intervene
in Asia, Pacific, and Asia/Pacific Americas knowledge formations with an emphasis
on both scholarship and community organizing.
